MMA Contributor (Internship—Unpaid)

The Role We're looking for a knowledgeable and driven MMA Contributor to join the Sideline Society Media team. This is an unpaid internship built for the aspiring sports media professional who wants real bylines, real experience, and a platform to develop their voice in one of the fastest-growing sports in the world.

What You'll Do

• Write and publish MMA content including fight previews, post-fight recaps, fighter profiles, and analysis pieces

• Cover major promotions including the UFC and Bellator

• Contribute written content to Sideline Society Media's newsletter and digital platforms

• Stay current on fight cards, rankings, and the broader MMA landscape

• Collaborate with the editorial team on story ideas and content planning

• Share your published work across personal and platform social channels to help grow our audience

• What We're Looking For

• A deep passion for MMA and combat sports

• Strong writing skills with a clear, engaging, and informed voice

• Solid understanding of MMA — fighters, promotions, rankings, and culture

• Self-motivated with the ability to meet deadlines independently

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Journalism, Communications, Sport Management, or a related field
