Video Producer (Internship—Unpaid)

The Role We're looking for a creative and driven Video Producer to join the Sideline Society Media team. This is an unpaid internship built for a video professional who wants hands-on production experience, a real portfolio, and the opportunity to help shape how a growing sports and culture media brand tells its stories visually.

What You'll Do

  • Produce and edit short-form video content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts

  • Collaborate with the Social & Digital Media Creator on visual content strategy and execution

  • Support the editorial team in bringing written stories to life on screen

  • Develop branded video templates, intros, and visual elements that reflect the Sideline Society Media aesthetic

  • Manage video assets, organization, and post-production workflows

  • Help conceptualize and build out Sideline Society Media's long-form video presence on YouTube as the brand grows

  • Contribute published work that may be featured in the Sideline Society Media weekly newsletter digest

What We're Looking For

  • A genuine passion for sports, culture, and visual storytelling

  • Proficiency in video editing software — Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or CapCut

  • A strong eye for pacing, aesthetics, and on-screen storytelling

  • Experience or strong interest in both short-form and long-form video content

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills — you'll be working closely with creative and editorial teams

  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Film, Communications, Media Production, or a related field
